Senior Application Specialist to support M365/SharePoint Document Management for a municipal client (RQ00358)

Our public sector client is seeking a Senior Application Specialist (10+ years) to support the rollout and operational management of M365/SharePoint Document Management Solution (RQ00358)

Join a large-scale municipal technology initiative supporting enterprise collaboration and document management modernization. This role delivers end-to-end application support for M365/SharePoint environments, ensuring stability and ongoing enhancement of a citywide document management platform. The position provides visibility across technical and user communities while maintaining high service standards and operational excellence.

Must Haves
  • 10+ years providing application support and administration for enterprise platforms
  • Strong background with M365 and Share Point
    document management solutions
  • Experience with incident triage , user issue resolution, and Service Now ticket management
  • Proficiency in SharePoint site administration and guidance on site usage and best practices
  • Post-secondary education in computer science, information technology, or a related discipline
Nice to Have
  • Previous experience in a public sector or municipal IT environment
  • Familiarity with continuous service improvement frameworks
Responsibilities
  • Support the rollout and daily operations of the M365/SharePoint Document Management Solution
  • Triage incidents and resolve user issues promptly and effectively
  • Manage Service Now support tickets to ensure timely service delivery
  • Provide day-to-day administration of SharePoint sites
  • Offer guidance to users on SharePoint site usage and best practices
  • Collaborate with technical teams to maintain a stable and supported environment
  • Focus on client satisfaction and continuous improvement of service delivery
