Position: Information Security Co-op Role at CIBC

This position on the Cyber Operations & Resilience team involves active participation in identifying and remediating cyber threats. You will be responsible for triaging alerts, conducting investigations, and packaging risk communications. Key Responsibilities:

• Manage vulnerability lifecycle and remediation efforts

• Triage information security alerts and monitor events

• Support investigations by escalating relevant incidents

• Conduct threat hunting and build detection content

• Communicate the status of vulnerabilities and threats

Requirements:

• Currently in Information Security, Computer Science, or similar

• Strong organizational and time-management skills

• Proficient in written and verbal communication

• Basic knowledge of scripting languages preferred

• Willingness to learn and adapt
