Job Description
We are seeking a Data Quality Engineer responsible for implementing enterprise data quality frameworks and improving trust in enterprise data assets. The role will leverage Informatica IDQ or Cloud Data Quality (CDQ) to monitor, validate, and enhance data quality across critical data domains. The Data Engineer works with department and lines of business subject matter expert (SMEs) across the enterprise to meet departmental and organizational objectives.
The engineer will follow end-to-end process standards and guidelines to ensure accurate and efficient build out of Data Quality architecture within project time frames.
- Implement enterprise data quality rules and monitoring frameworks.
- Configure and develop Informatica IDQ/CDQ profiling and validation workflows.
- Perform data profiling and anomaly detection on large datasets.
- Work with business stakeholders to define data quality rules and KPIs.
- Implement automated data validation checks across pipelines.
- Develop remediation processes for data quality issues.
- Integrate data quality checks into ETL/ELT pipelines.
- Produce dashboards and reports highlighting data quality metrics.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
- 3–6 years experience in data engineering or data quality engineering.
- Hands‑on experience with Informatica IDQ or Cloud Data Quality (CDQ).
- Experience with data profiling, cleansing, and validation frameworks.
- Strong SQL skills and data analysis capabilities.
- Understanding of data governance and metadata management concepts.
- Experience with data Lineage tools like CDGC.
- Familiarity with regulatory data quality requirements in financial services.
