Join the financial operations team as an Oracle People Soft Application Support Engineer. Utilize your expertise to troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues in Oracle People Soft Financials. This position focuses on providing L2 and L3 support for Oracle People Soft Financials applications, with an emphasis on operational troubleshooting and batch job management using CA Auto Sys.
You’ll be responsible for documenting incidents thoroughly, ensuring compliance with ITIL processes, and coordinating with various technical teams for seamless support.
Key Responsibilities- Offer L2/L3 production support for People Soft applications
- Perform root cause analysis and document production incidents
- Schedule and monitor batch jobs using CA Auto Sys
- Utilize Oracle SQL for data validation and issue resolution
- Create and modify shell scripts for operational enhancement
- Robust hands‑on experience with Oracle SQL
- Familiarity with CA Auto Sys job monitoring
- Knowledge of Oracle People Soft Financials (GL preferred)
- Proven operational troubleshooting experience
- Experience documenting failures and conducting RCA
