We are seeking a Business Application Analyst (BAA) with hands‑on experience in Workday Recruiting and Workday Talent, who can support configuration tasks, contribute to business process automation, and collaborate closely with Product Owners and Business Systems Analysts (BSAs). This role is ideal for someone who thrives in agile environments and has a strong understanding of Workday's no‑code configuration model.
Key Responsibilities- Configure Workday Recruiting and Talent modules based on finalized requirements from BSAs.
- Participate in informational and design sessions alongside Product Owners to understand business needs and automation flows.
- Demo Workday product features and configurations to stakeholders. Support business decisions by analyzing how the tenant is built and how processes are automated.
- Break down work into stories and tasks in Jira, track progress, and manage capacity in an Agile environment.
- Collaborate with BSAs to fine‑tune documentation and ensure alignment with business requirements.
- Answer questions related to AI models within Workday Recruit (no vendor‑side configuration required).
- 2 years as a Business Application Analyst in a financial industry or large enterprise setting.
- 2 years of hands‑on experience with Workday configurations (no coding required).
- 1 year of experience specifically with Workday Recruiting.
- 2 years working in Agile environments using Jira for tracking work.
- Familiarity with Workday Talent and its associated AI models.
- Comfortable demoing and speaking to Workday product capabilities and business process flows.
- Workday Pro Certification.
- Experience supporting documentation cadence and requirement refinement with BSAs.
- Paradox knowledge or experience.
- Hired Score knowledge or experience.
- Bachelor's Degree required.
- Workday Pro Certification (nice to have).
- 2 years of overall experience.
- Experience in Workday Recruiting and Workday Talent.
- Strong understanding of Workday and experience working in a similar role in a large enterprise setting.
- Interview process: 1 to 2 rounds of interviews; most likely onsite.
