The AI Lab in Toronto is looking for an Agentic AI Researcher to drive research on autonomous AI systems. You will create personalized and adaptive AI agents that integrate seamlessly into LG’s diverse product portfolio. Collaborating with experienced researchers, you will examine lifelong learning methods and enhance user interactions with smart devices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Research continual learning agents and tools for skill acquisition

• Experiment with innovative AI solutions under senior guidance

• Design systems for lifelong learning and task quality evaluation

• Implement personalized inference methods for improved user alignment

• Collaborate on papers for academic conferences

Requirements:

• PhD in AI/ML or a Master’s with 3+ years of experience

• Foundational knowledge in machine or reinforcement learning

• Experience with PyTorch or JAX

• Proven research experience or contributions in the field

• Strong analytical and communication abilities
