Enhance financial operations with your expertise as an Oracle People Soft Application Support Engineer. Focus on troubleshooting and optimizing Oracle People Soft Financials applications with L2 and L3 support.
This role emphasizes solving complex production issues while coordinating with various technical teams. You will document incidents as per ITIL processes, ensuring smooth support operations. Key tasks involve utilizing Oracle SQL for data validation and managing batch jobs through CA Auto Sys.
Key Responsibilities:
• Offer L2/L3 production support for People Soft applications
• Perform root cause analysis and document production incidents
• Schedule and monitor batch jobs using CA Auto Sys
• Utilize Oracle SQL for data validation and issue resolution
• Create and modify shell scripts for operational enhancement
Requirements:
• Hands-on experience with Oracle SQL
• Familiarity with CA Auto Sys job monitoring
• Knowledge of Oracle People Soft Financials (GL preferred)
• Proven operational troubleshooting experience
• Experience documenting failures and conducting root cause analysis
