Job Description

We are seeking an experienced TSYS Tech Lead with strong expertise in TSYS/TS2 applications, API & MQ analysis, and production support to lead platform initiatives and technical assessments within a large banking environment. The ideal candidate will possess deep knowledge of consumer and commercial card processing platforms, end-to-end integrations, and incident management.

Top 3 Required Skills
  • TSYS/TS2 Credit Card functionality across Statements, Authorizations, Rewards, Onboarding, Quick Remit, Centresuite, and related modules.

  • Hands-on experience with TSYS batch processing and file management.

  • Strong experience with APIs and MQ, including request/response analysis, issue triaging, and production investigations.

Top 3 Preferred Skills
  • Experience working with Master Card, Visa, Symcor, G&D, and other payment ecosystem vendors.

  • Strong TSYS production support experience within banking/card services.

  • Incident management experience using Service Now, including tracking issues through resolution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead end-to-end implementation and delivery of TSYS platform projects across testing and production environments.

  • Perform technical assessments, solution analysis, and provide guidance for platform enhancements and integrations.

  • Support TSYS applications including TS2, TLP, Quick Remit, Centresuite, APIs, MQ, and related card processing components.

  • Analyze API and MQ request/response payloads to investigate production issues and perform root cause analysis.

  • Manage TSYS batch processing activities and troubleshoot batch failures and interface issues.

  • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors including Master Card, Visa, Symcor, and G&D for system integrations and issue resolution.

  • Drive incident management activities using Service Now, ensuring timely tracking, communication, and closure of production incidents.

  • Work closely with business stakeholders, development teams, and infrastructure teams to deliver reliable and scalable payment solutions.

  • Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and support for platform modernization and continuous improvement initiatives.
