Reporting to the Supervisor of Foundation Data Maintenance, this full-time role integrates geospatial data into the City's Enterprise GIS. You will provide technical advice, perform data analysis, and develop tailored mapping solutions based on business requirements. Your expertise in GIS technologies and programming will contribute to innovative city services.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform geospatial data integration and technical analysis
• Develop programs for information systems from business designs
• Conduct feasibility studies for mapping solutions
• Integrate new technologies into production environments
• Provide mapping applications and support across divisions
Requirements:
• Education in Geographic Information Systems or related fields
• Proficient in ArcGIS and SQL for data manipulation
• Experience with Python/Arc Py for GIS automation
• Familiar with spatial ETL processes using FME
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Use your expertise to drive impactful mapping solutions in a collaborative GIS environment at the City of Toronto.
