Role Overview
Join our Chief Technology Office's Digital Employee Experience team and help build a frictionless technology ecosystem where enterprise tools like Microsoft Teams, Microsoft 365, and AI-powered solutions become trusted productivity partners for all Sun Life employees. This role is perfect for someone passionate about making technology accessible, driving adoption, and advocating for employee needs through clear communication and thoughtful change management.
WhatYou'll Impact
- Drive Adoption Success – Develop communications and change strategies that help employees embrace new technologies with confidence
- Be the Voice of the Employee – Gather real feedback to advocate for employee needs and continuously improve our technology experience
- Create Clarity from Complexity – Produce clear, accessible content that helps employees understand and maximize workplace tools
- Build Connections – Partner with IT teams and business units to bridge the gap between technology capabilities and employee needs
- Fuel Continuous Improvement – Document best practices and contribute to initiatives that enhance the digital workplace
- Develop employee-facing communications, support materials, and documentation
- Execute communication plans to support technology initiatives and changes
- Manage and maintain digital content across knowledge platforms, collaboration spaces, and learning communities
- Gather employee feedback through surveys, listening channels, and engagement activities
- Contribute to the development and documentation of best practices
- Work with internal partners to understand needs and support solution delivery
- Coordinate with subject matter experts to develop accurate and useful content
- Provide guidance and support to co‑op students or new team members, as needed
- Help employees and partners understand how to use tools effectively
- Post‑secondary education in communications, business, technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 1–2 years of experience in technology and/or business communication
- Experience with Microsoft 365 tools (Teams, SharePoint, Office)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills—you explain technology in plain language
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Passion for learning new technologies and helping others succeed
- Ability to work with business partners to understand their needs and deliver solutions
- Basic design skills (PowerPoint or visual content creation)
- Experience supporting technology adoption or change initiatives
