Production Application Support Consultant

Position: Production Application Support Consultant at CIBC
Elevate your technical career with CIBC as a Production Application Support Consultant. This role involves critical operations support for Direct Investing applications within a collaborative team.

As a key member of CIBC’s PBBSIT team, you will apply your technical expertise in Azure Dev Ops, Docker, and Kubernetes to ensure optimal performance of production applications. You will handle incident management, system outages, and client inquiries while fostering relationships with technology groups and vendors to deliver results that matter.

Key Responsibilities:

• Investigate and identify operational issues swiftly

• Collaborate on incident and problem management processes

• Support system changes and assess impacts

• Maintain effective logs and manage production support requests

• Coordinate with vendors for service restoration efforts

Requirements:

• 3-5 years experience with Azure Dev Ops and Kubernetes

• Proficient in scripting languages like Python and Power Shell

• Knowledge of financial products and services

• Site Reliability Engineering certification is an asset

• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
