Position: Senior SRE for Distributed Storage Services
Join the company's Storage Layer Services team as a Senior Site Reliability Engineer focused on distributed storage. Contribute to cloud storage innovations from either Toronto, Montreal, or remotely in an Eastern or Central time zone.

As a Senior Site Reliability Engineer, you will be integral to the re-architecting of the company's cloud storage. This position demands 6 years of experience in operating distributed systems and a strong programming background, preferably in Python or Go. Engage with performance enhancements and ensure the reliability of the infrastructure that supports the Atlas storage stack.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver reliability in the development of multi-tenant storage services

• Configure and monitor key performance metrics for services

• Engage in a 24/7 on-call rotation for incident resolution

• Become a performance expert from application to kernel

• Assist in major architectural transformations and data migrations

Requirements:

• 6+ years in software development on distributed systems

• Proficiency in Python, Go, or equivalent languages

• Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure platforms

• Familiarity with Kubernetes for service agility

• Strong knowledge of networking and Linux internals
