Description:

The Senior Automation Engineer must bring extensive hand-on experience across modern automation frameworks, SAP platforms, CI/CD quality engineering, and containerized environments. The role requires the ability to define, author, and drive automation strategies while enabling strong quality controls across the SDLC.

• Extensive applied knowledge of automated testing tools and frameworks such as Web DriverIO, Type Script, Java Script
• Strong advocate of quality controls across unit, integration, and acceptance testing using tools like JUnit and Web DriverIO
• Applied knowledge of SAP offerings including S/4 and SAP Commerce Cloud (Hybris)
• Understanding of programming languages and frameworks:
  Java, JavaScript, Type Script, HTML, CSS, Spring Boot, ReactJS, NextJS, Tailwind CSS
• Ability to define, author, and drive test automation strategies using best-in-class platforms
• Proven experience with CI/CD processes and embedding quality controls into each SDLC stage (Shift Left mindset)
• Strong understanding of ITSM (ITIL v4) processes for change, knowledge, incident, and problem management
• Experience with containerization technologies:
  Docker, ContainerD, Kubernetes (K8s, K3s)
• Container registries & artifact tools (Artifactory, GCR, ACR, ECR)
• Understanding of REST, GraphQL, and event-driven architecture (Pub/Sub, Kafka)
• Ability to understand customer needs and align testing strategies accordingly
• Drive to expand beyond functional testing into non-functional areas (performance, reliability, resilience)
• Knowledge of diagramming tools:
  Miro, , Fig Jam, Mermaid.js
• Robust communication and presentation skills
• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
