IT Business Analyst

Position: IT Business Analyst at Softchoice
Become the pivotal link between business needs and technology solutions at Softchoice as an IT Business Analyst. You'll manage the entire IT request lifecycle to ensure effective application of technology.

In this high-visibility role, you will directly engage with business stakeholders and IT teams to clarify needs, document requirements, and ensure successful solution delivery. Your responsibilities include assessing requests, producing detailed documentation, and validating solutions, which are essential for bridging the gap between technology and business functions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage intake and qualification of IT system enhancement requests

• Elicit and document functional and non-functional requirements

• Define UAT plans and coordinate with business stakeholders

• Track delivery progress and surface risks proactively

• Analyze data to inform IT investment decisions

Requirements:

• 5+ years as a Business Analyst or similar role

• Experience with BRDs, user stories, and UAT artifacts

• Proficient in Agile and Waterfall methodologies

• Strong analytical and communication skills

• High-quality documentation and stakeholder engagement
