Our financial services client is seeking a Release Train Strategist to facilitate release coordination and continuous improvement using Agile practices within Asset Management and Wealth domains - 58125

This position drives Program Increment success across multiple agile teams, ensuring smooth release delivery and alignment with strategic objectives. With high visibility and cross-functional impact, this contract offers engagement in enterprise-level transformation and opportunities for long-term growth.

Contract, Toronto, Hybrid - 4 days in office

Duration: 1 yr

Must Haves
  • 3+ years as a Release Train Engineer or Release Train Strategist coordinating Agile releases
  • Proficiency in Confluence ,
    Share Point , and Jira for Agile management
  • Experience in a banking or financial institution environment
  • Post-secondary education (university preferred)
Nice to Have
  • RTE Safe Agilist, Scrum Master certification, or PMP
  • Asset Management and Wealth experience
  • Prior experience within Banking
Responsibilities
  • Facilitate release planning, coordination, and execution across Agile teams
  • Manage impediments, risks, and dependencies within release scope
  • Support development of roadmaps, features, and release readiness activities
  • Coordinate Program Increment (PI) planning and system demos
  • Track release metrics and communicate key performance outcomes
  • Collaborate with Product Owners, Managers, and Architecture teams for alignment
  • Coach teams and leaders to adopt Lean-Agile and continuous improvement mindsets
