Drive transformation at BDO Canada as the Data & Analytics Lead. This role integrates data with technology to modernize Tax practices, enhancing efficiency and insight.
As part of the Tax Transformation team, you will spearhead the development of the data foundation vital for a more digital Tax function. Your responsibilities will include assessing existing data sources, designing dashboards with Power BI, and translating business needs into technical requirements. Additionally, you will support AI and automation initiatives, enabling workflow improvements while collaborating closely with various stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
• Build and refine the Tax data structure
• Develop dashboards and self-service analytics
• Ensure data quality and ETL/ELT processes
• Automate and simplify reporting processes
• Collaborate on AI-driven initiatives
Requirements:
• 5+ years in data analytics or engineering
• Experience with Azure, Databricks, SQL, Python
• Proficient in Power BI or Tableau
• Ability to translate business challenges into data solutions
• Familiarity with process improvement and automation
