Location: Hybrid (Downtown, Toronto)
Duration: 6 Months | Possibility of extension
Our client, a leading financial institution in Downtown Toronto, is looking for a Sr. IAM Security Technical Analyst - Authentication services, Forge Rock to Lead the end-to-end delivery of IAM programs and projects, ensuring milestones are met across multiple concurrent work streams. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with one of the Top 5 Banks in Canada.
Typical Day in role- Acts as the primary point of contact for executive stakeholders, preparing and presenting clear recommendations, reports, and updates on program status, risks, and KPIs.
- Stay up to date with regulatory requirements, standards, and industry best practices, advising leadership on trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Work cross-functionally and serve as a technical leader for IAM services.
- Manage vendor and partner relationships, ensuring services and solutions meet enterprise requirements.
- Accountable for the planning & successful delivery of projects identifying cross-functional business impact
- Defines project scope and deliverables, consistently adhering to predefined quality measurements to meet business needs and direction.
- Executes project requirements and roadmap direction set by Program Manager / Project Manager.
- Develops and maintains work plan, communications plan and resource plan for the assigned team and work objects.
- Proactively identifies and manages project issues and risks.
- Accountable to the project stakeholders and/or other project managers applying strong leadership skills to remove obstacles and resolve conflicts.
- 10+ years of experience in Cybersecurity with a primary focus on Authentication services such as IdP, SaaS, particularly Microsoft Entra Microsoft IAM technologies, such as MFA, SAML 2.0, OAuth 2.0, OIDC. (Listed in order of importance.)
- Familiarity with a large enterprise authentication system such as Forge Rock
- Experience with secure development and deployment with Java, cloud, container, Dev Ops and modern web development.
- Strong understanding of cryptography, PKI, certificates, keys, and secret management.
- Familiarity with identity lifecycle management and access governance.
- Strong analytical and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills at an executive level.
- Ability to build cross functional and departmental relationships
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Security, or related field.
- Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
