Network Architect Labs

Position: Contract Network Architect for Labs
Take on a rewarding contract as a Network Architect with a Private Sector Technology Company in Toronto. Focus on designing and securing networks for R&D and engineering labs in a hybrid setup.

This role, lasting 6-12 months, places emphasis on implementing secure, scalable network structures. You will be responsible for VLAN design, SD-WAN solutions, and creating firewall policies. Work closely with security and engineering teams to uphold stringent network standards while effectively troubleshooting issues as they arise.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create secure architectures for lab environments

• Develop and execute VLAN and SD-WAN strategies

• Design and enforce firewall policies

• Support NAC onboarding and secure access control

• Document network protocols and architecture

Requirements:

• Extensive experience in network design

• Skilled in VLAN and SD-WAN technologies

• Proven track record in secure lab environments

• Strong understanding of Aruba or Cisco stacks

• Excellent troubleshooting and communication abilities
