Enhance web accessibility at CBC/Radio-Canada as an Accessibility Front-End Designer/Developer in Montreal. This hybrid role requires expertise in front-end technologies to create inclusive user experiences.
We seek a skilled developer with over three years of experience in UX and front-end technologies. You will evaluate accessibility reports, ensure compliance with established standards, and collaborate closely with design and engineering teams. Your innovative mindset will be key in optimizing web applications for all users.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with accessibility teams to resolve issues
• Transform designs into interactive applications using HTML and CSS
• Maintain complex applications using frameworks like React or Vue.js
• Ensure applications are compliant with WCAG 2.1 standards
• Conduct usability testing and user research
Requirements:
• Three or more years in a front-end development role
• Strong knowledge of WCAG 2.1 and related standards
• Proficient in JavaScript, Type Script, and design tools like Figma
• Experience with integrating RESTful APIs
• Bilingual in English and French
