Drive application success in capital markets as a Front Office Application Support Engineer based in Toronto. This hybrid role focuses on your expertise in UNIX and job management.

You will support FX front office applications while maintaining strong communication with trading teams. With 6-8 years of application support experience, your role will include monitoring using ITRS, SQL, and Control M for efficient job scheduling and issue resolution. Knowledge of scripting is essential for automation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct root cause analysis for application incidents

• Manage tasks using Control M job scheduling

• Implement monitoring solutions with ITRS tools

• Support UNIX-based trading applications

• Ensure timely communication with trading desks

Requirements:

• Minimum 6-8 years of application support experience

• Proficiency in UNIX shell scripting

• Strong SQL skills required

• Knowledge in ITSM processes is crucial

• Preferably from a capital markets background
