Position: Application Modernization Architect Role
Join Aliant Resources as a Senior Solution Architect focused on Application Portfolio Modernization in Peel Region, Ontario. This hybrid position combines strategic planning with hands-on architecture design.

You will lead pivotal initiatives to enhance the application portfolio through effective upgrades and replacements. Collaborating with IT Solutions leadership and stakeholders, you will ensure that all applications meet high-performance standards and align with regional digital strategies.

Your role encompasses defining comprehensive architectures and maintaining communication throughout project life cycles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaboratively define application performance metrics

• Optimize the application portfolio’s technical debt

• Provide strategic planning and roadmaps to support evolving goals

• Create architecture blueprints and oversee compliance

• Mentor technical team members throughout project phases

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of advanced IT development experience

• Proven skills in enterprise-level system design

• Familiarity with Java, C#, or .NET frameworks

• Strong grasp of ITIL, COBIT, and application security standards

• Relevant advanced certifications are mandatory
