Lead the future of cybersecurity as the Managing Director & Chief Information Security Officer at Ontario Teachers' in Toronto. Drive the organization's security strategy while ensuring innovation and resilience in a complex threat landscape.
As CISO, you will shape enterprise-wide cybersecurity and resilience strategies, report directly to the CTO, and work closely with leaders in risk management, legal, compliance, and technology. This senior leadership role mandates advising executive stakeholders, fostering partnerships, and enhancing the security culture across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
• Act as authority on cyber risk management
• Define and implement cybersecurity resilience strategies
• Advise the Board on security risk profiles
• Oversee operations in IAM, cloud security, and data protection
• Lead cybersecurity culture initiatives enterprise-wide
Requirements:
• 15+ years in cybersecurity, with 7+ in leadership
• CISSP certification required
• Expertise in security operations and incident response
• Strong knowledge of emerging technologies
• Proven communication skills for executive audiences
