Role Description
As the  Manager of Data Infrastructure , you will be the primary architect and technical lead for the agency’s data backbone. Your mission is to transition the department from service-based reporting to a product-led infrastructure. You will oversee the design, scalability, and security of our data environments, ensuring that technical workflows are robust, automated, and capable of supporting advanced AI and measurement methodologies.

While this is a deeply technical role, you will also act as a key client-facing leader, serving as the crucial bridge who translates complex data engineering into actionable business value and strategic insights for our brand partners.

Responsibilities
Measurement & Tracking Engineering

Technical Tagging Architecture:  Oversee the implementation of complex tracking environments (GTM, Server-Side Tagging) to ensure data integrity at the point of collection.

Client Leadership & Technical Consulting

Client Account Leadership:  Act as the senior data infrastructure point of contact for key client accounts. You will regularly interface with clients to present data strategies, explain infrastructure investments, and demystify complex technical concepts for marketing stakeholders.

Strategic Translation:  Partner directly with account leads to translate client business requirements into technical specifications for the data team, and conversely, translate technical outputs into compelling, easy-to-understand narratives for the client.

Qualifications

Experience:

5+ years in data engineering or high-level data analytics, specifically within a cloud-first environment. Agency experience is preferred.

Technical:

SQL & Dataform:
Expert-level SQL (window functions, UDFs) and experience with Dataform for transformation modeling.

GCP Architecture:
Deep hands-on experience with Big Query, Cloud Functions, and IAM roles.

Web Analytics Engineering:
Understanding of GA4/Adobe Analytics from a data schema and tracking perspective.

Visualization & Synthesis:  Proficiency in dashboard/visualization tools (Data Studio, Tableau, PowerBI…) focused on building dynamic, low-latency templates rather than just one-off reports.

Preferred Assets

Programming:  Proficiency in Python (specifically for data manipulation with Pandas/Num Py and GCP API interactions).

Automation:  

Experience with JavaScript/Google Apps Script for automating workflows between Google Workspace and GCP.

Transparency matters to us. For this role, you can expect a salary between $70,000-$85,000 annually, depending on experience. This is a new vacancy.
