Within Oliver Wyman, the Data and Analytics (DNA) division was established in 2017 and is operating globally. We are a dynamic and rapidly growing team of quantitative analytics specialists, collaborating closely with colleagues across the firm to cover a global footprint, working across multiple industries including, but not limited to, Financial Services, Climate & Sustainability, Energy, Retail, and Transportation.

What You Will Do
As a member of Oliver Wyman's Data & Analytics team, you will collaborate with colleagues and clients at all levels from your very first day, helping clients solve their most pressing challenges. Our DNA team is committed to developing tailored solutions for clients around the globe, including designing potential solutions for analytical challenges, implementing various prototypes while also assessing their effectiveness, and engaging in discussions with clients and colleagues to share ideas.

Developing an NLP-based machine learning toolkit to predict credit rating downgrades using news articles - for more information
Modelling portfolio decarbonization strategies leveraging advanced analytics techniques for large European banks
Optimizing and developing a promotional program using data from historical promotions for an Asian health & beauty chain by deploying a promotion analytics toolkit
Validating a customer-facing GenAI chatbot for an American bank
Developing probability of default and loss models in Python for European and UK-based banks
Identifying supply chain risks by combining multiple live data feeds, and developing and applying a bespoke AI based risk methodology - for more information
Developing a next best action model to reduce customer churn for a global telecom company
Performing commercial due diligence on a AI maritime collision detection software system and the impacts of future regulatory changes
Implementing AI to remediate billing discrepancies for a portfolio company
Assessing the AI readiness of companies on behalf of a UK Private Equity firm
Restructuring the pricing proposition of a financial services firm as part of a value creation plan

Who Can Apply?
Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in a quantitative discipline from a top academic program (Data Science, Mathematics, Economics, Natural Sciences, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, etc.)
Data-driven mindset and proficiency with numbers, paired with the ability to explain sophisticated data science concepts in an understandable manner to clients and colleagues
Ideally, programming skills in Python or R, but more importantly, an eagerness to continuously extend your knowledge of technologies
Strong commitment to teamwork and resilience in a creative and constantly changing environment
Excellent command of the English language (verbal and written)
Interest and experience in private equity and private markets is a plus
