Role: Data Architect Location: Toronto, ON (days onsite) Duration: Contract
Data Architecture Strategy
Design and implement scalable secure and high performance data architecture
Define data standards governance policies and best practices
Align data architecture with business goals and analytics needs
Platform Development Data Ops Focus
Lead the development of a Data Ops platform to streamline data pipelines testing monitoring and deployment
Integrate CICD practices into data workflows
Automate data quality checks lineage tracking and metadata management
Netezza Expertise
Design and optimize data models and queries in Netezza
Migrate or integrate Netezza workloads with modern platforms eg cloud data warehouses
Monitor and tune Netezza performance for analytics workloads
Data Integration Pipeline Design
Build robust ETLELT pipelines across heterogeneous data sources
Ensure realtime and batch data processing capabilities
Collaborate with data engineers to implement reusable pipeline components
Collaboration Leadership
Work closely with business stakeholders data scientists and engineering teams
Mentor junior data engineers and architects
Translate business requirements into technical specifications
Monitoring Optimization
Implement monitoring tools for data pipeline health and performance
Continuously optimize data workflows for cost and efficiency
Troubleshoot and resolve datarelated issues proactively
AIML Data Ops Enablement
Collaborate with data scientists and ML engineers to provide clean structured and accessible data
Support MLOps pipelines by ensuring data availability versioning and lineage tracking
Automate data validation retraining triggers and rollback mechanisms for ML models
AWS Cloud Experience is a must
Mandatory Skills : GCP Data Architecture, MDM Conceptual, Data Architecture, Data Lakehouse Architecture, Dimensional Data Modelling.
