Application Security Engineer
Location:
Toronto, ON Hybrid: 4 days a week in office
Job Description:
The Cyber Security Architecture & Engineering team is seeking an experienced Application Security Engineer to strengthen application security capabilities and support App Sec tooling rollout.
RequiredSkills & Qualifications
- 8–12 years in application development and security
- Experience in Java, .NET, Python, Node.js
- Strong App Sec expertise
- Experience with SAST, DAST, SCA tools
- Knowledge of secure SDLC
- Cloud experience (AWS/Azure)
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Prior work experience at client or in client's Industry
Skills & Qualifications
- Additional certifications in cybersecurity
- Experience with App Sec tool onboarding and rollout
- Familiarity with integrating App Sec into CI/CD pipelines
- Implement App Sec practices across SDLC
- Perform threat modeling and secure design reviews
- Conduct secure code reviews
- Analyze vulnerabilities for exploitability and reachability
- Enable developers with secure coding practices
- Provide reporting and dashboards
