Assignment Type
Onsite; the resource is expected to work 7.25 hours per calendar day between the standard working hours of 8:00-5:00 PM (excluding lunch breaks) every Monday to Friday inclusive at the identified OPS office location.
Responsibilities- Prepare and present analysis to support component design using models, etc. to the project team
- Participate in project focus groups, JAD sessions, SCRUMs and technical meetings with IT service providers
- Provide production support to the SADIE application
- Anticipate and resolve problems to ensure that deliverables are completed on time and in compliance with OPS Standards and Templates
- Review and confirm software, hardware and network requirements
- Identify and communicate issues and risks to the DADS IT Project Manager and participate in mitigation activities
- Experience proactively identifying and communicating potential issues and risk events before they occur so that proper mitigating strategies can be developed, through the DADS SADIE Development Team Lead and/or the DADS IT Project Manager
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Demonstrated ability to be a team player with a track record for meeting deadlines
- Experience in programming and analysis at the specified experience level
- Experience with Microsoft Azure, AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service) or other Cloud Technologies (Openshift, Kubernetes, AWS, etc…)
- Experience in the use of object and/or third generation language development tools
- Experience in one or more programming languages including but not limited to:
- Java
- JavaScript ES6+
- Spring Framework
- Quarkus
- Angular 9+
- Angular Material
- Drools
- Type Script
- SQL
- Node.js
- HTML5
- Experience with one or both of the following web service standards:
- Representational State Transfer (REST)
- Knowledge of standards for health care data exchange, in particular Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources (FHIR):
- HAPI FHIR (nice to have)
- SmileCDR (nice to have)
- Experience with relational, hierarchical, and non-relational (document-oriented) database technologies:
- PostgreSQL
- Experience with one or more communications protocols (e.g., HTTP, HTTPS, FTP, SFTP, TCP/IP)
- Experience in analysis and design (including the use of UML to model solutions), code, test, debug and documenting applications
- Experience in User Interface development with a focus on the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA)
- Experience in programmatically assembling PDF and Word Documents. (nice to have)
