Software Developer – Full Stack; RQHealth Services Cluster

Assignment Type

Onsite; the resource is expected to work 7.25 hours per calendar day between the standard working hours of 8:00-5:00 PM (excluding lunch breaks) every Monday to Friday inclusive at the identified OPS office location.

• Prepare and present analysis to support component design using models, etc. to the project team
• Participate in project focus groups, JAD sessions, SCRUMs and technical meetings with IT service providers
• Provide production support to the SADIE application
• Anticipate and resolve problems to ensure that deliverables are completed on time and in compliance with OPS Standards and Templates
• Review and confirm software, hardware and network requirements
• Identify and communicate issues and risks to the DADS IT Project Manager and participate in mitigation activities

• Experience proactively identifying and communicating potential issues and risk events before they occur so that proper mitigating strategies can be developed, through the DADS SADIE Development Team Lead and/or the DADS IT Project Manager

• Experience in programming and analysis at the specified experience level
• Experience with Microsoft Azure, AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service) or other Cloud Technologies (Openshift, Kubernetes, AWS, etc…)
• Experience in the use of object and/or third generation language development tools
• Experience in one or more programming languages including but not limited to:

• Experience with relational, hierarchical, and non-relational (document-oriented) database technologies:
  • PostgreSQL
• Experience with one or more communications protocols (e.g., HTTP, HTTPS, FTP, SFTP, TCP/IP)

• Experience in analysis and design (including the use of UML to model solutions), code, test, debug and documenting applications
• Experience in User Interface development with a focus on the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA)
• Experience in programmatically assembling PDF and Word Documents. (nice to have)
