We are seeking an experienced Middleware/Application Support Engineer with strong expertise in JBoss, IBM Web Sphere, and Microsoft Azure. The ideal candidate will support enterprise applications, manage production incidents, perform application installations and upgrades, and work across cloud and on-premises environments. This role requires hands‑on experience with Linux/Unix/Windows platforms, monitoring tools, and service management processes.

Roles & Responsibilities
  • Continuously enhance knowledge and expertise in business services, applications, infrastructure, and analytical tools to support effective solution development and delivery.
  • Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and business requirements.
  • Collaborate effectively with vendors and external partners.
  • Support the installation, configuration, maintenance, and upgrade of business applications and systems in coordination with relevant stakeholders.
  • Perform low to moderately complex technical tasks under guidance and supervision.
  • Manage production incidents and ensure timely investigation, resolution, and communication.
  • Provide hands‑on support for cloud‑based and on‑premises environments.
  • Work across UNIX, Linux, and Windows operating systems.
  • Utilize Service Now for incident, problem, and service request management.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve application and infrastructure issues using tools such as Splunk, Data Dog, and Dynatrace.
Required

Skills & Qualifications
  • 8–10 years of experience in application support, middleware administration, infrastructure support, or related technical roles.
  • Strong experience with business services, enterprise applications, infrastructure, and analytical tools.
  • Proven experience supporting application installation, configuration, patching, and upgrades.
  • Hands‑on experience in production incident management and problem resolution.
  • Working knowledge of cloud technologies, preferably Microsoft Azure.
  • Experience administering and supporting UNIX, Linux, and Windows environments.
  • Experience using Service Now for IT service management (ITSM).
Proficiency with Monitoring and Observability Tools
  • Splunk
  • Data Dog
  • Dynatrace
Preferred / Nice‑to‑Have Skills
