We seek a Product Designer who will spearhead design, interaction and user experience across Geotab’s applications. If you love technology and want to join an industry leader, we’d love to hear from you.

As a Product Designer you will design end‑to‑end experiences across applications such as MyAdmin, MyGeotab and Geotab Drive, working closely with UX Research, Product Management, Engineering, and Data Science. You will lead research, ideation, prototyping, and iterations to improve the design and experience for end users. You will manage multiple tasks, communicate effectively with cross‑functional teams, and maintain compliance with AODA accessibility guidelines.

• Lead research, ideation, and creation of application interactions
• Partner with UX Research, Product Management, Development, and Data Science during design and development
• Map out user flows, wireframes, and prototypes for testing, feedback, and deployment
• Conduct user interviews and gather feedback from end users and SME
• Build and roll‑out products that deliver on Geotab’s vision and strategy
• Use Design Principles and existing visual frameworks to produce cohesive designs
• Design web applications using industry best practices and visual frameworks
• Support Geotab global strategic initiatives
• Track design features and fixes from subject matter experts
• Maintain AODA compliance for site accessibility
• Support team with coding activities when needed (e.g., JavaScript, React)
• Conduct concept and usability testing and gather feedback
• Create personas through user research and data
• Define interaction models and evaluate their success
• Ensure designs, code, and animations work across browsers and devices
• Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows, and sitemaps
• Design UI elements like menus, tabs, and widgets
• Build page navigation buttons and search fields
• Adjust layout based on user feedback
• Demonstrate Geotab’s Core Values in all daily work and interactions
• Contribute to and maintain the departmental Wiki

• 1‑5 years of relevant industry experience, including 2+ years as an individual contributor on a product, experience, or service design team
• Bachelor’s or equivalent industry experience, preferably in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical or Electronics Engineering, or related field
• Deep knowledge of product design, interaction patterns, trade‑offs, and responsive web best practices
• Proficiency in UI design tools such as Figma, Sketch, InVision, Principle, and competency with Google Suite for business
• Proven ability to lead all aspects of the user‑centered design process from conception to completion, adapting to evolving technology and market demands
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, able to explain complex ideas to non‑technical stakeholders and engage across all levels of the organization
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, entrepreneurial mindset, and comfort working in a flat structure
