Senior Business Systems Analyst – Payments

Location: Toronto, ON Work Model: Hybrid (2 days/week onsite)
Experience: 10+ Years

• Strong Business Analysis experience including requirements gathering, stakeholder management, workshops, and project discussions.
• Deep knowledge of payment systems and networks:
  Mastercard, Interac, Visa, Cirrus, TSYS.
• Understanding of payment transaction lifecycle, including authorization, posting, and reconciliation.
• Experience with JIRA for requirements, issue tracking, and delivery management.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, communication, and data‑driven decision‑making skills.

• Act as a trusted advisor to business stakeholders and support strategic initiatives.
• Lead requirements gathering, stakeholder analysis, and business process assessments.
• Bridge business needs with vendor solutions and serve as a Product SME throughout project delivery.
• Analyze business challenges and recommend effective solutions.
• Support production issues, system enhancements, product upgrades, and new initiatives.
• Track project milestones, risks, dependencies, and issues; elevate when required.
• Develop reports, dashboards, and business insights to support decision‑making.
• Collaborate with internal teams, external vendors, and payment network partners.
• Drive change management activities including readiness assessments, planning, stakeholder engagement, and implementation.
