In this role, you will tackle complex procurement activities that require strategic thinking and effective communication. You'll partner with business units and suppliers to ensure procurement aligns with CIBC's objectives. Your ability to negotiate and manage contracts will directly impact financial efficacy and supplier relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead procurement initiatives for software and IT services
• Negotiate and finalize contracts with suppliers
• Align procurement strategies with internal client objectives
• Develop comprehensive contract agreements and terms
• Maintain compliance with governance policies and risk frameworks
Requirements:
• Over 3 years of procurement and supplier management experience
• Familiarity with SaaS and IT services contracts preferred
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
• Excellent negotiation and influencing skills
• Strong self-planning and time management abilities
