As an IT Support Specialist, you will play a key role in providing technical assistance and ensuring the smooth operation of computer systems. Candidates should have some postsecondary education in IT and at least six months of relevant experience. Proficiency with Windows, Microsoft Office 365, and web applications is essential for success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide technical support for library microcomputers
• Install software and configure systems for users
• Diagnose issues promptly and efficiently
• Assist users with software application inquiries
• Work with libraries to enhance IT service delivery
Requirements:
• Some postsecondary education in a relevant field
• 6+ months experience supporting technical equipment
• Strong knowledge of Windows OS
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365 and browsers
• Experience with Thunderbird and antivirus software
