Interac Technical Support Specialist

Drive operational success as a Technical Support Specialist at Interac, focusing on incident management and infrastructure monitoring in a dynamic 24/7 environment. This role is pivotal for maintaining system integrity.
As part of the Interac Real Time Payments Command Centre, you will ensure efficient resolution of technical incidents while collaborating with multiple teams. Ideal candidates will have 2-3 years of technology operations experience, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
Key Responsibilities:
• Address incidents and outages promptly to reduce impact
• Monitor application performance and infrastructure health
• Perform triage and impact assessments on detected incidents
• Document resolutions and troubleshooting procedures thoroughly
• Manage chronic incidents with appropriate escalation
Requirements:
• Post-secondary degree in a relevant technical field
• Minimum 2-3 years in 24x7 operational roles
• Bilingual in English and French, written and spoken
• Experience with monitoring tools like Dynatrace
• Must hold or be eligible for Government of Canada's Secret Clearance
