Role OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Systems Testing / QA Specialist to lead and execute comprehensive testing strategies across large-scale enterprise applications. This role focuses on ensuring high-quality software delivery through a mix of manual and automated testing approaches, strong collaboration with cross-functional teams, and adherence to regulatory and accessibility standards.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expertise on testing strategies, test planning, tool selection, and resource allocation
- Plan and execute testing for large systems across GUI and non-GUI environments
- Develop and maintain test plans, scripts, test cases, and test data
- Execute functional, integration, regression, and system-level testing
- Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT), stress, load, and performance testing
- Identify, document, and track defects using tools such as JIRA, ALM, Bugzilla, and Azure Dev Ops
- Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to troubleshoot and resolve issues
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, UFT, Test Complete, or Postman
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
- Validate system performance, scalability, and reliability
- Ensure compliance with accessibility standards (AODA) and industry regulations
- Participate in Agile practices including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives
- Maintain detailed test documentation, coverage reports, and quality metrics
- Support release activities including documentation and user manuals
- 10+ years of experience in enterprise-level software testing
- Strong experience in both manual and automated testing tools and frameworks
- Deep understanding of Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies
- Experience with AODA compliance and accessibility testing
- Proven ability to develop test strategies, scripts, and reports
- Experience with end-to-end testing of complex systems
- Familiarity with security testing and QA compliance standards
- Automation tools:
Selenium, Postman - Performance tools: JMeter, Load Runner
- Defect tracking tools: JIRA, Azure Dev Ops
- Databases: SQL, Oracle
- CI/CD tools:
Jenkins, Git, Git Lab
- Strong knowledge of testing methodologies and SDLC
- Experience with functional, non-functional, and integration testing
- Ability to support UAT and work with cross-functional teams
- Experience with test case design, execution, and documentation
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Experience with object-oriented testing methodologies
- Experience with commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) applications
- Familiarity with information management principles
- Experience coding automated test scripts
- Strong communication (written and verbal)
- Excellent teamwork and stakeholder collaboration
- High adaptability and ability to manage tight timelines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
