Location: downtown Toronto (Hybrid)
Duration: 6-month contract to start, with potential for extension
Schedule: Monday to Friday | 3 days in-office, 2 days remote
Compensation: $30-$32 per hour + 4% vacation pay
About the Opportunity
A dynamic and fast-paced organization is seeking a detail-oriented Paid Social Specialist to support the execution and optimization of digital campaigns. This role is ideal for a data-driven professional with a strong understanding of social media advertising platforms who enjoys working collaboratively to drive measurable results.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the development and execution of paid social media strategies aligned to business objectives
- Manage live campaigns across platforms such as Facebook/Instagram, Linked In, Tik Tok, and others
- Monitor campaign performance, analyze data, and implement optimizations to meet KPIs
- Act as a key point of contact for campaign-related inquiries, troubleshooting, and updates
- Prepare and present performance reports and insights to stakeholders
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless campaign delivery
- Anticipate challenges and proactively recommend solutions to improve results
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, business, communications, or a related field preferred
- At least 2 years of experience in paid social media planning and execution
- Hands-on experience with major social advertising platforms (e.g., Meta, Linked In, Tik Tok, etc.)
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed recommendations
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Industry certifications (e.g., Facebook Blueprint, Twitter Flight School, Snapchat) are considered an asset
- A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- A collaborative team player with a positive, can-do attitude
- A continuous learner who stays up to date with digital media trends
