Salesforce Associate Consultant – QA
Who you are :
As a Salesforce Associate Consultant you will undertake QA responsibilities on Salesforce engagements, you will work with Project Managers, Business Analysts and Developers to understand the overall solution, and are responsible for challenging the solution through Testing efforts while documenting your steps and results along the process. Within these responsibilities, you will also take on Business Analysis and Salesforce Configuration responsibilities as the role is designed to grow into that of a Salesforce Business Analyst.
- Adhere to Slalom’s Project Management best practices
· Adhere to Quality Analysis Testing best practices - Understand and adhere to Software testing methodologies for planning, scripting and test execution
- Review and understand design/solution documentation of Salesforce implementations to ensure your overall understanding of the solution
- Support developing an appropriate testing strategy based on project requirements and timelines.
- Support/Lead in developing testing activity estimates and test plans throughout the project lifecycle
- Write and maintain well-structured test scripts following appropriate formats
- Execute test scripts and document results following appropriate formats, including generating test data in various environments
- Identify, document, and report on Testing/Defect Metrics throughout the project lifecycle
- Demonstrate solution functionality to business stakeholders as needed
- Plan, support or guide end-user acceptance testing phase of the project lifecycle
- Participate in declarative Salesforce configuration when necessary
- Participate in training, content development, and end-user training
- Content knowledge – Experience in designing and executing Test Plans/Cases
- Analytical techniques
- Experience in supporting or leading testing efforts and documentation - System configuration
- Ability to configure out of the box (OOB) Salesforce functionality - Project management
- Demonstrated analytical skills and experience with the complete lifecycle of complex enterprise projects; understanding of core project management concepts, theories, practices, and methods - Familiarity with agile software delivery methodologies and tools such as Scrum and the Atlassian Suite (JIRA, Confluence, etc.)
- Understanding of the Salesforce product suite including Salesforce1, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, App Cloud, Communities and App Exchange solutions
- Active Salesforce certifications or ability to achieve relevant certifications upon hire
- 1+ years of CRM experience and proven understanding of a full software development lifecycle
- 1+ years of hands-on experience with packaged applications, preferably Salesforce, implementing full project life cycles. Other areas of experience may include Microsoft, Siebel
