Front Office Developer

Excel in capital markets as a Front Office Excel Developer with Insight Global in downtown Toronto. This role emphasizes advanced Excel skills for developing essential trading tools on-site.

This 6-month contract role, located within one of Canada’s top banks, focuses on building efficient Excel solutions for the IRD Trading Desk. Ideal candidates will bring 2+ years of experience in advanced Excel, including proficient use of VBA and Macros, along with a basic understanding of Python. Continuous learning and adaptation are key traits for success in this environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop tools for trader support

• Streamline workflows using Excel, VBA, and Macros

• Work closely with the IRD Trading team for tool optimization

• Apply learning in a Rapid Application Development setting

• Maintain a regular on-site presence

Requirements:

• Over 2 years of relevant Excel development experience

• High proficiency in Excel with strong VBA skills

• Basic knowledge of Python is required

• Experience with IRD and SQL is desirable

• Must be present on-site 4-5 days per week
