At the Ontario Institute for Cancer Research, you'll be an integral part of a team focused on innovative cancer research solutions. This full-time position based at the MaRS Centre in Toronto will involve maintaining high-performance compute clusters, cloud services, and extensive storage systems. Your expertise will help ensure seamless IT operations for researchers and administrators.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and install Linux operating systems and infrastructure systems

• Monitor system behaviors and interpret log results

• Identify potential infrastructure problems and propose solutions

• Prepare status reports on deliverables

• Contribute to infrastructure projects with internal and external teams

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering

• Experience maintaining Linux server infrastructure

• Expert knowledge of Linux operating systems

• Familiarity with infrastructure services like DNS and LDAP/AD

• Experience with scripting and High Performance Computing
