Senior Conversation Designer – AI Experiences
Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid)
Contract:
6 months with potential to extend
Hourly Rates:
T4: 52 - 54
IC: 59 - 64
What You'll Do
- Design conversational experiences where language is the primary interface
- Create prompts, response frameworks, and reusable conversation patterns for AI interactions
- Define and evolve voice, tone, and behavioral guidelines for AI-generated content
- Establish content guardrails that manage risk, ambiguity, and regulated financial scenarios
- Translate complex investing and financial concepts into clear, actionable client experiences
- Partner closely with Product, Engineering, Data, Legal, and Compliance teams to ensure outputs are accurate, safe, and aligned
- Build scalable content systems, including taxonomies, patterns, and knowledge structures
- Participate in usability testing and evaluate AI response quality to continuously improve experiences
- Contribute to the end-to-end design of client journeys, including education, guidance, and core investing workflows
What You Bring
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in Content Design, UX Writing, or a related discipline
- Exceptional writing skills with a strong ability to simplify complexity and reduce ambiguity
- Experience working within Agile, cross-functional product teams
- Systems-thinking mindset with the ability to create scalable patterns and reusable frameworks
- Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills across design, product, and technical teams
Nice to Have
- Experience designing conversational AI, chatbots, or system-driven content
- Background in financial services or other highly regulated industries
- Experience defining content quality metrics or evaluation frameworks
- Knowledge of accessibility best practices and WCAG standards
- Familiarity with prompt design and AI content governance
