Location: Toronto, ON.

Pay rate: $85 - $90/hr.

About the Role:

Our client is looking for a talented UX Designer to create intuitive, visually appealing, and user-centered digital experiences. You will work closely with product, business, and development teams to design effective interfaces, conduct user research, and iterate designs to ensure exceptional user experiences.

Mandatory:
Public sector experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct user experience research using interviews, surveys, usability testing, A/B testing, card sorting, and other methods.
• Translate research findings into actionable deliverables such as user journeys, personas, wireframes, mockups, service blueprints, and prototypes.
• Facilitate design thinking workshops and lead project teams in ideating solutions for complex product and service challenges.
• Design interfaces for web, mobile, and other digital platforms using Figma and design systems.
• Collaborate in an Agile, sprint-based environment and contribute to iterative product development (Discovery, Agile, Beta, Live).
• Communicate design ideas clearly through documentation, presentations, and reports.

Must-Have

Skills & Experience:

• Strong UX research and synthesis skills.
• Experience in service design and high-level documentation of front-end and back-end systems.
• Proficiency in Figma and design systems.
• Agile experience and understanding of iterative product development cycles.
• Excellent communication, mentoring, and stakeholder management abilities.
