Position: Expert Cloud Security Role
Elevate cloud security standards at the City of Toronto as a Senior Specialist. You'll focus on creating a robust security framework and guiding cloud adoption best practices.

In this permanent full-time position, you will play a vital role in enhancing city-wide cloud security strategies alongside the Chief Information Security Officer. Your expertise in conducting in-depth security assessments and developing policy guidelines will support the secure operation of cloud services. Collaborating across city divisions, you'll lead efforts to remediate vulnerabilities and respond to emerging threats.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage secure design and implementation of cloud solutions

• Conduct architecture reviews and improve security posture

• Lead cloud security policy development and enforcement

• Provide training on best practices for internal teams

• Stay current on cloud security developments and trends

Requirements:

• Relevant degree in Business or Technology

• Extensive experience in cloud security assessments

• Strong familiarity with security compliance frameworks

• Proficiency in major cloud platforms like AWS and Azure

• Preferred certifications: ISO
27001 LA, CISSP, etc.
