Cloud Security Specialist

Position: Cloud Security Specialist Role at Opendoor
Opendoor seeks a Cloud Security Specialist to protect our cloud infrastructure across multiple AWS accounts and Kubernetes clusters. Influence our security designs through automation and intelligent systems.

You will be pivotal in defining our security architecture and enhancing cloud security visibility while mentoring other engineers. This role demands autonomy and innovative thinking in rapidly evolving security landscapes, focusing on building automated workflows that minimize manual effort.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead security architecture for cloud environments using AWS and Terraform

• Build cloud security protection platforms integrated with engineering workflows

• Establish zero-trust access strategies for secure infrastructure

• Enhance security for Kubernetes through RBAC and policies

• Develop automated detection and response workflows

Requirements:

• Over 5 years of cloud security experience

• Extensive knowledge in AWS and Kubernetes security

• Programming experience in Go, Python, or Type Script

• Familiarity with cloud security tools and practices

• Strong identity and access management skills
