Information Security Consultant

We are seeking an experienced Information Security Consultant to provide expert advisory and delivery support across business units. This role involves collaborating with stakeholders to align security strategies with business objectives, managing high-volume ticket-based work, and contributing to project deliverables in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly collaborative, and able to manage multiple priorities independently.
Pay: T4 $ 70 / IC: $81
RESPONSIBILITIES- Act as a trusted advisor to assigned business units on information security matters
- Provide consulting services aligned with organizational security standards and goals
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs, risks, and opportunities
- Support the development and execution of information security strategies
- Analyze data and provide insights, recommendations, and solutions to business challenges
- Manage ticket-based workloads while delivering on project requirements
- Track metrics, milestones, and issues; elevate risks as needed
- Support vendor relationships, including implementation and ongoing maintenance of solutions
- Promote process improvements, security best practices, and emerging technologies
- Assess security impacts of project scope changes, including risks and benefits
- Create and deliver clear, professional presentations to stakeholders
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and root cause analysis
- Ensure adherence to information security policies, frameworks, and regulatory requirements
- 4–7 years of relevant experience in information security or related field
- Strong understanding of information security frameworks and standards (e.g., NIST CSF, ISO 27001/27002, PCI DSS)
- Experience with information security concepts, methodologies, and controls
- Knowledge of project delivery and business analysis practices
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and handle non-routine situations
- Post‑secondary degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent experience
- Industry certifications (e.g., (ISC)², ISACA, SANS)
- Experience with Service Now
- Familiarity with vendor management and third‑party security solutions
- Exposure to financial services or regulated environments
