Toronto Application Security Developer Position

Contribute to Marsh's critical security operations as an Application Security Developer in Toronto. Collaborate onsite three days a week to ensure robust application security.

As part of the Marsh Information Security team, you will act as a security advisor, reviewing projects and enhancing security measures. The role emphasizes skills in microservices, Kubernetes, cloud technologies, and proficiency in Python for developing secure applications. Dive into new projects while collaborating with other technology teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as security advisor on diverse projects

• Analyze applications for weaknesses and vulnerabilities

• Update security best practices to limit risks

• Engage quickly with new initiatives and offer support

• Develop tools and prototypes for security assessments

Requirements:

• Deep passion for information security and technical problem solving

• Experience with security-by-design practices and architecture

• Strong skills in scripting and application API development

• Knowledge of authentication protocols and cryptography

• Familiarity with securing AI applications is a plus
