GIS Data Integrator

Position: GIS Data Integrator at City
Become a key player in urban development as a GIS Data Integrator at the City of Toronto. This full-time position involves data integration and GIS support to enhance mapping accuracy and usability.

Supporting the City’s Enterprise GIS, you'll create and validate spatial data, develop mapping solutions, and provide recommendations to improve data quality. This role emphasizes collaboration across departments to foster effective city initiatives while leveraging cutting-edge geospatial technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop mapping solutions based on technical requirements

• Collect and validate land base data for accuracy

• Support divisions with GIS applications and services

• Conduct thorough analyses and implement improvements

• Prepare materials for demonstrations and user guidance

Requirements:

• Degree in Geographic Information Systems, Geography, or similar

• Extensive experience with ArcGIS and data reporting

• Strong skills in SQL for data extraction and validation

• Knowledge of Python or related scripting technologies

• Adaptability in fast-paced, multidisciplinary environments
