Overview
We are seeking a Senior Quick Sight Developer to design and deliver high-quality, enterprise-grade business intelligence solutions. This role focuses on transforming complex data into actionable insights through advanced dashboards, robust data modeling, and strong data quality practices. You will partner with both business and technical stakeholders to translate ambiguous requirements into scalable BI solutions, while ensuring data accuracy, performance, and long-term maintainability.
This position plays a key role in enabling data-driven decision making across the organization.

RESPONSIBILITIES- Design, build, and maintain enterprise-grade dashboards in AWS Quick Sight with advanced visualizations, calculated fields, and security models
- Migrate or rebuild existing dashboards from other BI platforms into Quick Sight while maintaining functional and visual parity
- Develop and optimize complex SQL queries using Amazon Athena to support performant analytics solutions
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical requirements and scalable BI solutions
- Analyze and validate data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency prior to visualization
- Build and maintain clean, analytics-ready datasets through strong data modeling practices
- Identify and resolve data quality issues across complex and disparate datasets
- Apply best practices in data integrity, data governance, and data architecture concepts
- Use Git Hub for version control, collaboration, and management of reusable SQL and BI assets
- Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, tailoring messaging as needed
- Design creative, pragmatic solutions to address platform limitations and evolving business needs
- Balance solution complexity with long-term maintainability and scalability
- Perform rigorous QA to ensure high-quality deliverables
- Manage multiple priorities and deliverables in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS Quick Sight or similar BI tools, building enterprise dashboards
- Proven expertise in Amazon Athena SQL, including writing and optimizing complex queries
- Solid understanding of data modeling and building analytics-ready datasets
- Experience working with large, complex, and unstructured datasets
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify trends, anomalies, and data issues
- Experience ensuring data quality and data integrity across systems
- Familiarity with version control and collaboration using Git Hub
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical BI and data solutions
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across business and technical audiences
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills with the ability to develop innovative solutions
- High attention to detail with a strong ownership mindset
- Ability to manage competing priorities and work independently
- Experience migrating dashboards from Tableau or other BI tools to AWS Quick Sight
- Experience with Oracle and PostgreSQL databases
- Familiarity with data architecture concepts such as data flows, lineage, and interoperability
- Exposure to data governance, privacy, or regulatory frameworks
- Experience working in highly complex data environments within large organizations
