Position

Summary

Centennial College is hiring a Talent Systems Analyst to join our People, Equity and Culture (PE&C) team. Reporting to the Associate Director, HRIS and Operations, the Talent Systems Analyst supports PE&C initiatives with a focus on HR technology, including the LMS, HRIS, and Performance & Talent Management systems.

Providing cross‑team support for HR, Talent, and Learning technology needs, the analyst coordinates and supports projects across multiple platforms. Responsibilities include managing system integrations, troubleshooting issues, developing solutions, and working with confidential data to analyze, report, and resolve system‑related challenges. The role also involves ongoing system monitoring, identifying priorities, and creating content to support training launches and communications.

The analyst will apply their subject‑matter expertise to ensure data accuracy, deliver high‑quality user support, and identify trends that inform recommendations for continuous improvement in technology and information practices.

Responsibilities
  • Collects, analyzes, and reconciles data from LMS, Talent, and HR systems to produce accurate reports and support data‑driven decision‑making
  • Builds and supports automated processes that bring together data from various enterprise systems
  • Manages LMS related data analytics, responds to queries, and maintains documentation for bulk data operations
  • Facilitates conversations with stakeholders to identify business needs, translates them into process maps, and creates documentation to support end users
  • Collaborates with subject matter experts to create user guides and evaluate the feasibility of systems changes
  • Manages stakeholder and vendor relationships, performs quality checks, and suggests effective technical solutions
  • Collaborates with other departments on issues related to LMS, Talent Systems, and HRIS
  • Collaborates with managers and project leaders to understand needs and provide guidance on HR technology
  • Supports operational and project‑based work in a shared‑services role, using strong problem‑solving skills to resolve issues
  • Provides LMS content management support
Qualifications/Experience
  • Three (3) year diploma/degree in HR or Business Administration or an equivalent combination of education and experience; certifications with a focus on learning technology, talent systems, or HRIS are assets.
  • Five (5) years of experience as a business or systems analyst in HR, with strong knowledge of LMS, talent systems, and HRIS
  • Proven ability to analyze HR and learning system data in a large, service‑oriented organization
  • Experience working with HR, talent and learning systems such as Banner, Articulate Rise 360, Scribe, Saba or Docebo is considered a strong asset
