Ambulatory Epic Technical Specialist

Step into a pivotal role at Enhance Ontario as a Senior Technical Specialist in our Ambulatory department. Engage with Epic systems to optimize patient care and ensure smooth operations across our network.

This temporary full-time position involves managing the Epic Clinical Information System for Ontario hospitals. You will troubleshoot issues, conduct system upgrades, and support application end-users with your expertise.

Your role will heavily influence workflow optimizations through committee support and testing of application enhancements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Independently troubleshoot and resolve complex application issues

• Lead testing for system updates and enhancements

• Collaborate with operational committees on workflow optimization

• Maintain training materials with Principal Trainers

• Review project statuses with leadership regularly

Requirements:

• Previous experience with Epic® preferred

• Epic certification required within 3 months

• Strong knowledge of clinical workflows and systems

• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks
