Position: Cyber Security Research Advisor Role

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct risk-based assessments for research initiatives

• Serve as a liaison between stakeholders and the Office of the CIO

• Develop tailored security protocols for unique research projects

• Advise on the management of confidential research data

• Foster collaborative relationships to promote security practices

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in information security or related discipline

• Minimum of 5 years in security advisory or compliance roles

• Proven experience with researchers and academic environments

• In-depth knowledge of Canadian security standards

• Capable of obtaining necessary security clearance
