Lead the operations of Cogent Communications' data centers as the Data Center Operations Manager in Toronto, Canada. Ensure seamless service through effective management and oversight.

Cogent Communications is hiring a Data Center Operations Manager in the Toronto region. This position will focus on keeping data centers operational, managing vendor activities, and coordinating between different departments. You'll ensure timely provisioning of customer orders and manage maintenance activities proactively while being prepared to respond to urgent situations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Keep Cogent datacenters operational and free from alarms

• Oversee customer order provisioning and equipment management

• Train vendors on essential data center tasks

• Work with NOC to enhance operations

• Respond to urgent site issues when necessary

Requirements:

• 3+ years experience in data center or telecom operations

• Proficient with critical equipment systems

• Experience in project and vendor management

• Strong communication skills

• Must reside in Toronto
